Returns & Exchanges
We gladly accept change-of-mind returns within 15 days of purchase, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging and in saleable condition.
Refunds are processed via the original payment method (e.g. credit card to credit card, PayPal to PayPal, Afterpay to Afterpay).
Shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
When returning your order, please clearly label your parcel as RETURN to help us process it efficiently.

Once your return has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed.
If you are seeking an exchange, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for your preferred item.
Warranty & Consumer Guarantees
We stand by the quality of our products.
All Sande products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we offer a 3-month manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase. This covers faults or defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper care, or accidental damage.

Rust Notice – Important Update
We were devastated to discover an early batch of our Beach Hauler Backpacks was produced with buckles and press studs that did not meet our expected standard for rust resistance.
We are aware of the date range during which the affected bags were sold, though we are not yet clear on the exact number impacted. We have since worked closely with our manufacturer to source alternative hardware to ensure this does not occur again.
Our zip hardware and key clips remain unchanged and have never had rust concerns.
