What materials are used for the Beach Haulers?
The main mesh fabric is polyester coated with PVC, with the internal pocket made from 100% cotton and the sturdy straps are a cotton/polyester blend.
Are the Beach Haulers chlorine-safe?
Yes, our materials are chlorine-safe, making Beach Haulers ideal for the pool and swimming lessons.
Are these mesh beach bags waterproof?
The mesh fabric is waterproof, but ensure the straps and canvas are thoroughly dried before storing.
How do I care for my Beach Hauler?
Spot clean with a damp cloth for regular care. For deeper cleaning, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid hot water and harsh detergents, as they may affect the durability of the PVC mesh. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
Please wipe the brass features (e.g. key clip and slider buckles) with a damp cloth if exposed to salt water and dry thoroughly before storing to avoid tarnishing.
Avoid sharp objects and dragging, as these could cause damage.
Is the Beach Hauler heavy?
The Beach Hauler weighs between 650-850g. It’s lightweight yet durable, designed to carry bulky beach essentials like towels, snorkels, and toys—perfect for many summers to come. But remember, you’re the one carrying it, so pack only what you can comfortably carry!
I was so sick of carrying my Woolies bag around since my old beach bag went walk abouts. Both of which dug so hard into your arm when packed and was a mission carrying on the beach. This bag literally holds everything we need (family of 5), stylish and comfortable to carry even with a million things in. Could not fault it at all!!!
This is the best beach bag I have ever had. Every time I use it, I don’t come home with half the beach sand! It is large enough to carry beach gear - including towels for 6 people with lots of spare room. The backpack is my favourite, as I love having my hands free. I can not review these bags any higher. It’s a must have!!
This bag is amazing. It’s is a workhorse. The quality is so high, I really do push it to its limits. I’ve taken it all over the world and shove it under the plane seat in front of me (because it’s so amorphous it just fits in any space despite its size). Here it is in Arizona in the desert with us carrying all the stuff you need with two young kids. Useful beyond just the beach!!!!

We were looking for a beach bag that could fit everything in for 3 kids and us adults and that was practical and easy to lug around. I came across sande and loved the look of their backpack bags. This bag is legit amazing. It really does fit it all. The quality is amazing and strong. The only thing I didn’t love was that the metal adjustable strap holder parts on the bag straps, when your carrying the bag on your shoulders, if the metal bits are high up they dig into your back/shoulders and is a little painful . Otherwise a fantastic bag and would highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your feedback about the buckles digging in. If you have the straps tightened all the way and are on the smaller side, I can see how this might happen. I’ll definitely keep this in mind for the future!
Saw an instagram ad for this bag, but didn’t buy it at the time. Really wish I had!
We’ve been hobbling together an assortment of bags to go to the beach, none of which were big enough for everything, and were so awkward to lug to the beach, along with a toddler. Kinda made the trip home a downer because you’re already tired and then you have to awkwardly get to the car.
The backpack means you have two hands free, and can pick up a kid if needed. It fits everything with so much space to spare, is super comfy and easy to adjust. Loads of pockets and the key clip is perfect. The clip is very secure, but also easy to open. Can’t recommend enough
